This means elegant evening attire for a festive castle celebration.
For the ladies: An elegant knee-length or midi cocktail dress, a chic jumpsuit, or a dressy two-piece/ensemble. Simple long dresses are also appropriate.
For gentlemen: A suit or dress pants with a dress shirt and jacket. A Tie or bowtie is recommended but optional.
Most important: Please feel comfortable and ready to celebrate with us! 💃🕺

Q: How can I get to the Hambacher Castle?
The Hambacher Castle can be reached by car, public transport, or taxi. If you go by car, please use the lower general parking lot (Maps). Other options are public buses from Neustadt, but the last bus already leaves at 1 am. Taxis are also an option that you can ask about in your hotel, or alternatively, book them through Taxi Neustadt. The Panorama Hotel in Neustadt also offers a shuttle service to the castle that you can book if you stay there.
Q: Wheelchair access?
The whole castle is barrier-free and accessible by wheelchair. However, to reach the castle, please contact us beforehand, so we can reserve one of the limited parking lots directly at the top of the castle for you.
Q: What time should we arrive?
Please arrive at least 20-30 minutes before the ceremony (16:00) to be able to walk from the parking lot to the castle and take a seat in the ceremony.
Q: Where is the ceremony?
The ceremony will take place in the castle’s outdoor courtyard; only in case of bad weather it will be held indoors.
Q: Kids?
Kids are welcome 🤍. We only ask that you supervise them at all times, and please keep in mind the potential risks of a castle environment.
